Description

In this special Spring course, Maya will introduce you to the basics of sewing and teach you how to sew your own project (e.g., clothing, tote bag, apron). During the 8-week program you will understand sewing as an art form, learn sewing vocabulary, differentiate among different fabric types, learn about a variety of sewing tools, learn to plan a sewing project, understand how to read and use sewing patterns, and create at least one sewing project.
