Prerequisite: healthcare certificate or working in the health care fieldThis program is for students with a medical background that are interested in entering the field of hemodialysis as a patient care technician. It will also prepare those who already work in the field to take a national certification exam. It will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties required of a dialysis technician. There are no clinical rotations or certification tests provided for this class.
