VITRUAL CLASS 9:30 am-12:30 pmThis course must be taken before Nurse Aide and Medical Assistant I if you are not currently working in the medical field. An introduction to the field of health care, this class focuses on core competencies shared by all health care professions: communication, infection control, medical terminology, HIPAA, OSHA, anatomy and physiology, medical law and ethics, and medical math. No high school diploma or equivalency needed for this class. After successfully completing this course, students qualify to take the certifying exam.
